Ready? Get Set. Work.

Ready? GET SET…Work! is a non-denominational, non-profit, self-help networking group. It was established in 1994 to assist the un/under-employed find employment. Ready? GET SET…Work! has been and continues to be supported primarily by Applewood United Church. More recently Ready? GET SET…Work! has also gratefully appreciated the generous support of Suncor Energy Foundation and many local residents and businesses. Ready? GET SET…Work! holds weekly meetings on Tuesday mornings and anyone who is actively seeking employment is welcome to attend. Meetings provide an opportunity for members to participate in pro-active, confidential discussion in a positive, supportive environment. Resume and interview help is available and members share their career transition experiences while networking to discover job leads and training/retraining opportunities.
