Joanne Hedge
Joanne is passionate about God, faith, worship, connecting with others, and practicing radical hospitality and inclusivity. A desire to enliven our worship time and explore new ways to connect to God, Spirit and the life of Jesus focus her work. A commitment to justice for all people and all creation underpins her faith and her ministry. She has a keen interest in exploring and opening space for personal encounters with the divine, and in learning about God, Christ and Spirit with others of all ages. Ordained in Hamilton Conference in 2011, Joanne served a three point rural charge before arriving at Applewood United Church in October 2014. In her ‘previous life’ Joanne was a Minister for Music, a leader in music and art programs for children and young families, a mom, a teacher and a student of life!
